Bar puller
The bar puller is intended for use by lathe machines that do not have a bar feeder.
The main function of bar puller is to pull the rod assembled in the machine spindle at the required distance to produce the workpiece.
The bar puller has to be mount on one of the positions of the turret.
Programming is easy. After the main program is complete, the bar puller pull the rod for the next workpiece.
The advantage is that it costs much less than one bar feeder and the pull cycle is shorter around 40% compared with pull cycle of the bar feeder.
The only disadvantage is that it works with single rods. It doesn’t have the magazine of the bar feeder.
